MeetĀ Dr. Todd Miller:Ā Ā
Dr. Todd Miller is a highly sought-after expert in exercise and nutrition science, known for his engaging teaching style and ability to translate complex research into practical strategies for health transformation.Ā As an Associate Professor at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, and a member of NeoLifeās Scientific Advisory Board, he brings over 25 years of experience bridging the gap between cutting-edge science and real-world application.
Miller's journey began on the field, where he honed his skills as a Strength and Conditioning coach for elite athletes at Penn State and Texas A&M Universities. His passion for human performance then led him to explore the frontiers of space, where he was involved in a groundbreaking research project studying neuromuscular adaptations in astronauts. This culminated in an animal experiment that was flown aboard the ill-fated Space Shuttle Columbia in 2003.
A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator, Dr. Miller has designed and currently directs both the undergraduate and graduate programs in Strength and Conditioning at GWU. His expertise extends to athletes, first responders, civilians, and military personnel.
As the founder and former director of the GW Weight Management and Human Performance Lab, Dr. Miller has worked with countless individuals to achieve their health goals. His research has explored diverse areas like exercise adherence, obesity prevention in retired NFL players, the use of active video games in inner-city schools, and optimizing metabolism in premenopausal women.
Beyond academia, Dr. Miller is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, and a proven leader in the direct sales industry. Prior to coming to NeoLife, he previously built a 1 Diamond level team with another company, demonstrating his ability to inspire and motivate others. This experience translates into his engaging presentations and ability to connect with diverse audiences.Ā
